The book "It Happens on the Road" issued by the Safe Streets Campaign to Combat Sexual Harassment provides snapshots and narrative scenes of a group of women and girls who have experienced one or more sexual harassment experiences and how they dealt with them according to their vision of street culture and the street's reaction to the girl who announces that she has been harassed.
The book presented in detail the street's point of view, which often holds the girl fully responsible for being harassed under the pretext of (dress - time - place - the harasser's personality, influence and social value and finally her personality).
In light of these determinants, the street often decides the wisdom of each according to the case, and in my opinion this is one of the most important problems of increasing harassment, as the street does not have the judgment or the ability to judge fairly in this regard.
It Happens on the Road is a working paper presented to the first conference to combat sexual harassment in Yemen within the activities of the Safe Streets Foundation on November 2, 2013 by the writer Nabil Ahmed Al-Khadher
